Tickets for Boston’s second-round home games at the TD Garden — presumably Games 3, 4, and 6 (if necessary) of an Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Miami Heat, barring an unprecedented comeback by the Philadelphia 76ers — will go on sale Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. Keep reading for full details from the Celtics.

BOSTON — The Boston Celtics announced today that a limited number of playoff tickets for Round 2, Home Games 1, 2 and 3 at the TD Garden will go on sale Thursday, April 28 at 2 p.m. There is a three (3) ticket limit per customer and seats start at just $18.

Fans interested in purchasing tickets for Round 2 before Thursday’s public on sale may do so by registering for the Celtics Beat Presale. Fans that sign up at Celtics.com/beat by April 28 at 9 a.m. will receive a link to access the exclusive Round 2 ticket presale which begins on April 28 at 10 a.m.

Date, time and opponent for Round 2 are to be determined. Please visit Celtics.com, friend the Celtics on Facebook or follow them on Twitter (@celtics) for all the latest schedule information as it becomes available. All fans in attendance for the first home game will receive Celtics rally towels courtesy of Arbella Insurance.

Celtics fans will be able to purchase on April 28 beginning at 2 p.m. by visiting Celtics.com, by calling 1-800-4NBA-TIX (800-462-2849) or by visiting the TD Garden Box Office. Acceptable forms of payment for tickets are American Express and all other major credit cards and customers may also pay by cash at the TD Garden Box Office.

In the event that Home Game 3 is not played, refunds will be done at the point of purchase. Fans purchasing online would be automatically refunded through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster will refund the face value of each ticket, facility charge and per ticket service charge. All per order charges (order processing and any delivery charges) will not be refunded.
